Since it is a new business venture, the Electromobility Poland also announce the brand name, Izera, after Izera Mountains.

Work on the car started in 2016. The car manufacturer was founded on the initiative of the PGE Polish Energy Group, Energa, Enea and Tauron. Each of these entities has a 25% stake in it. Torino Design studio, which previously cooperated with brands such as BMW and Ferrari, is responsible for the visual design. Four energy companies will also be the first users of the car. PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA, Energa SA, Enea SA and Tauron Polska Energia SA have already signed a letter of intent with EMP in this matter.

The price of the car was not announced yet but it seems that sice those four companies will buy the initial batch of cars we, the consumers, will not have to pay for testing it, and the price will reflect what the market will demand.

The car will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than eight seconds. Batteries in two capacities are planned to match the offered range (up to 400 km) to customer needs. It will be possible to charge both at home and at fast charging stations.

The production is scheduled for the third quarter on 2023.
