Poland will soon have e-vans

Poland is working on not one but two e-vans.

The National Center for Research and Development has completed the third stage of the "E-van" project with support from the EU's Smart Growth Program.

In the fourth stage, two contractors will be tasked with obtaining homologation of their vehicles, building a third prototype with a freely chosen superstructure, and preparing the vehicles for production.

The aim of the "eVan" project is to stimulate the growth of the Polish automotive industry by supporting the development and implementation on the market of technologies of alternative energy sources in universal N1 electric delivery vehicles. The resulting vehicle is to be characterized primarily by high reliability and durability, a functional and ergonomic interior, a modern look, and be based on a universal driving platform intended for various versions.
